Spirituality is something that I wanted to explore in 2010. The big question is where to begin. There are so many books, sites, stores, objects, etc. that one can use to become more spiritual. I started yoga and that is something that i feel has started me in the right direction. I have been going to Laughing Lotus in Chelsea and I think it is a great place. They are hardcore there and they incorporate the yoga spiritual beliefs into the class unlike the yoga at the gym. I also got a bunch of meditation audio books to try to guide me into a state of "bliss," (Im still working on this one.)
Today i got in the mail something I have been waiting for for about 3 weeks. My Lisa Williams House Cleaning Kit, its $75.00 ad its available on the Lisa Williams website. I think cleansing my house will be crucial to my spiritual growth. There has been so much negativity in my life: family drama, sickness, shady friends, etc. I want that energy to be gone from my home so I have a place that it negative free and only filled with positivity. I haven't tried it yet. Im going to do it tomorrow when no one is home. (It has a few sill steps in it that I don't want my boyfriend see my doing.)
I have also been working with Oracle Cards. I got them free from a psychic convention I went to a couple years ago and I just started using them. They are the Colette Baron-Reid Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Cards. Hey I saw Avalon (one of my favorite dance clubs ever from back in the day) and I thought I would give them a try. So far my readings have been good and insightful. Your spirit guide it supposed to come down and help you select a card that is relevant to your problem at hand.
This is a new journey for me and we will see if all these mediations, yoga, crystals, sage, candles, cards, etc. will help. I will definitely keep you updated on my journey.
Living in NYC sure can be stressful on a boy. Where's my glass of wine?!? ... ummm I mean where's my quartz crystal and white candles.... OM SAHANA VAVATU SAHANA BHUNATTU SAHA VIRYAM KARAWAVAHAI TEJASVINAVADITAMASTU MA VIDVISHAVAHAI OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI OM
